About The Position

As a BrightBee school paraprofessional, you will support students in local schools, focusing on their behavioral and socio-emotional goals as directed by each school site. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. BrightBee recruits candidates to support local schools and nonprofits. You will use the BrightBee app to claim assignments at schools/non-profits in your area and get paid a week later. Our goal is to help schools succeed and give workers the tools they need to grow in their careers.

Requirements

Completed at least 48 college credit hours OR a passing score on the parapro assessment.
Comfort with paying for your background check and permit.
Willing/able to commute to various school sites in the East Cleveland area.
Pay & Pass a background check.
Secure & pay your educational aide permit.

Nice To Haves

Open to working multiple sites and assignment types.
Assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Support students in local schools, focusing on their behavioral and socio-emotional goals as directed by each school site.
Use the BrightBee app to claim assignments at schools/non-profits in your area.
Follow safety and reporting guidelines.
Undergo a background check, adhere to a code of conduct, and comply with all mandated reporter training and reporting requirements.
Pass a background check, livescan and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances and provide authorization to contact former employers.
