About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a compassionate LPN or LVN to provide one-on-one nursing care to school-aged pediatric clients (age 3 and older) in Erie County for the 2026/2027 school year. The role is described as private-duty in-home nursing, supporting children in the comfort of their homes. Nurses work with autonomy while receiving support from a larger care team, including 24/7 clinical support. Full-time and part-time availability is offered, along with other shift options noted in the posting.

Requirements

• Hold an active, current license to practice as a professional nurse (LPN or LVN).
• Be able to travel to assigned cases.
• Demonstrate a calm and reassuring presence, active listening, excellent assessment skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health care experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.
• Experience working with children is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to pediatric clients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Provide complex care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management, if desired and within scope.
• Provide family education.
• Perform clinical assessments.
• Provide nursing care according to the care plan.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapy.
