About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a compassionate LPN or LVN to provide one-on-one nursing care to school-aged pediatric clients for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is described as private-duty in-home nursing, serving children in the comfort of their own homes. Nurses work with pediatric clients with a variety of diagnoses and are part of the Skilled Nursing Unit, with access to a larger care team and 24/7 clinical support. The position offers full-time or part-time availability, with other shift options also mentioned, including per-diem and on-call.

Nurses may work at the top of their scope and have the opportunity to provide complex care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management. BAYADA will train candidates who lack home health or pediatric experience. Requirements

• Hold an active and current license to practice as a professional nurse (LPN or LVN).
• Be able to travel to assigned cases.
• Demonstrate a calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous home health care experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.
• Experience working with children is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to pediatric clients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Provide family education.
• Perform clinical assessments.
• Provide nursing care according to the care plan.
• Administer medication, treatment, and therapy.
• Provide complex care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management, if working at the top of scope.
