About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking an experienced RN or LPN to provide health services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools. The nurse treats injuries and mild to acute illnesses, supports students with chronic illnesses, and provides preventive-care education on avoiding communicable diseases and maintaining proper hygiene. The role requires comfort with feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and medication administration, as well as strong organizational and communication skills when working with children, parents or guardians, and teachers.

This is a PRN staffing position with a flexible schedule; nurses can select shifts based on their availability. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with varying times depending on the school. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN or LPN license in Missouri.
• At least two years of nursing experience in a medical facility.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills and compassion.
• Comfortable caring for students with feeding tubes and tracheostomies and administering medication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with children, parents or guardians, and teachers.

Responsibilities
