School Monitor Elementary (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)
About The Position
Assist site staff in monitoring and controlling student behavior during daily activities in hallways, classrooms, cafeterias, and outdoors. This position is at Oyama Elementary School in the 36th Street and La Cholla area. It is effective for the 2026–2027 school year and is scheduled for 4 hours per day on a 9-month work calendar. Positions under 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. Requirements
- Speak, read, and write in English.
- Experience working with youth.
- Before starting, complete an FBI fingerprint background check.
- Before starting, provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Before starting, complete Department of School Safety Campus Monitor Training.
