About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Cincinnati, Ohio, to provide skilled nursing care to a student during the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports the student’s safe and confident participation in school. The LPN provides care in a school setting, including support for tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube, and oxygen needs as applicable. The nurse monitors the student’s condition, administers prescribed care, and responds to changes in health status. When required, the nurse accompanies the student on school transportation to ensure continuity of care and safety. The LPN collaborates with school staff and caregivers to support the student’s daily health needs and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.

Requirements

Practical Nursing Diploma or Certificate.
Active Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, skilled nursing, G-tube management, and oxygen therapy is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
