About The Position
School Food Service Manager needed for food service program in the Ocala, FL area. Monday through Friday, day shift, 6 hours per day. No weekends, or holidays. Summers off. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude and be a reliable team player. We will train on Manager responsibilities.
Requirements
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, tools, following standardized recipes and food safety standards are required.
- Experience with leading a team is required.
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe® certification a plus. If not we will train to obtain the certificate.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cafeteria operation on a daily basis.
- Serving, food preparation, etc.
- Observe that the quality, and food safety procedures are being followed at all times.
- Prepare inventories, and month end paperwork.
- See that personal protection equipment is being used at all times.
- Oversee cafeteria staff, and staffing needs.
