About The Position
School Food Service Manager needed for food service program in the Lawrence Twp, NJ area. Monday through Friday, day shift. No weekends, or holidays. Summers off. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude and be a reliable team player. We will train on Manager responsibilities.
Requirements
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, tools, following standardized recipes and food safety standards are required.
- Experience with leading a team is required.
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe® certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cafeteria operation on a daily basis.
- Serving, food preparation, etc.
- Observe that the quality, and food safety procedures are being followed at all times.
- Prepare inventories, and month end paperwork.
- Oversee cafeteria staff, and staffing needs.
