About The Position
School Food Service Manager needed for food service program in the Lawrence Twp, NJ area. This is a Monday through Friday, day shift position with summers off. No weekends or holidays are required. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude and be a reliable team player. We will provide training for Manager responsibilities.
Requirements
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, tools, following standardized recipes and food safety standards are required.
- Experience with leading a team is required.
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe® certification is a plus. If not, we will train to obtain the certificate.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cafeteria operation on a daily basis.
- Serving, food preparation, etc.
- Observe that the quality and food safety procedures are being followed at all times.
- Prepare inventories and month-end paperwork.
- Oversee cafeteria staff and staffing needs.
