About The Position

Campus Services Group (CSG) is hiring a School Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment within its facilities. The custodian works around school staff and students and helps ensure the school meets cleanliness standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, at 1325 Sumneytown Pk, Gwynedd, PA 19437. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Ability to complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours daily.
• Ability to lift and carry, and push and pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customer requirements.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas to meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Use protective gear during cleaning tasks.
• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment or cleaning-product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms and common spaces.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related assigned duties.
• Respond promptly to paging-system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection-control procedures and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
