About The Position

The School Coordinator is a full-time, grant-funded, on-site position with Partners for Rural Impact’s Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) Initiative at Lee County Elementary School. Reporting to the Project Director, FSCS Lee Menifee Powell Wolfe, the coordinator leads implementation at the assigned school and ensures students and families receive coordinated, high-quality supports and opportunities that improve attendance, engagement, academic success, and postsecondary readiness. The role dedicates 100% of its time to FSCS program activities and coordinates school and community resources to expand services, avoid duplication, and address identified needs. The work supports the four FSCS pillars: holistic integrated student supports; expanded and enriched learning time and opportunities from cradle to career; family and community engagement; and collaborative leadership and practices. The coordinator works with public schools, local educational agencies, community-based and nonprofit organizations, and other public or private entities to coordinate academic, social, and health services. The position is on site during PRI’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work may be needed for events, training, meetings, or other program needs. This is a year-round, 12-month position; employees are expected to work during periods when the assigned school district is not in session unless otherwise approved. Infrequent local, regional, or national travel may be required, sometimes with overnight stays. Remote or hybrid work is not standard for this role.
