About The Position

The School Coordinator is a full-time, grant-funded position with Partners for Rural Impact’s Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) Initiative, assigned to Lee County Elementary School. Reporting to the Project Director, FSCS Lee Menifee Powell Wolfe, the coordinator is the on-site implementation lead responsible for coordinating high-quality supports and opportunities for students and families to improve attendance, engagement, academic success, and postsecondary readiness. The role coordinates school and community resources to expand services, avoid duplication, and address identified needs, and dedicates 100% of work time to FSCS program activities. The coordinator supports the four FSCS pillars: holistic integrated student supports; expanded and enriched learning time and opportunities from cradle to career; family and community engagement; and collaborative leadership and practices. The role coordinates academic, social, and health services through partnerships among schools, local educational agencies, community-based and nonprofit organizations, and other public or private entities. The position is onsite at the assigned work location during PRI’s regular business hours, normally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. It is a 12-month, year-round role, including work when the assigned school district is not in session unless otherwise approved. Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work may be required for events, training, meetings, and program needs. Infrequent local, regional, or national travel, including occasional overnight stays, may be required. Remote or hybrid work is not a standard arrangement.
