About The Position

Transport school students between assigned bus stops and schools according to specified routes and time schedules. Maintain order during driving trips and follow safety rules and regulations while driving, loading, and unloading passengers. Drivers are employed during the school year and follow the school district’s calendar. This is a part-time position. Routes may use buses carrying 24 or more passengers (CDL required) or 9-passenger vehicles (CDL not required), and may involve daily routes or activities only. Rate depends on the route and bus size. CDL training is available through Monark Student Transportation Corp.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and/or CDL license and a Pennsylvania “S” endorsement.
Must receive Pennsylvania State Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances.
Must agree to and submit to pre-employment, random, and post-accident drug testing.
