About The Position

Illinois Central School Bus is hiring School Bus Drivers in Tolono, Illinois, to serve the Unit 7 School District. Drivers transport children and other passengers to and from school and play an important role in the communities served. The position offers part-time hours, with four hours per day guaranteed when school is in session. Summer school routes may be available. The work is described as flexible, with no nights, weekends, or school holidays required.

Requirements

Strong verbal communication skills.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license held for a minimum of three years.
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test, background check, and physical examination.

Responsibilities

Transport children and other passengers to and from school in the Unit 7 School District.
Operate vehicles safely and follow regulations and company procedures.
Ensure the safety of all students.
Attend safety meetings as required.
Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed.
