About The Position

Krise Transportation is hiring a School Bus Driver serving Steel Valley in Munhall, Pennsylvania. Drivers are an essential link between students and schools, responsible for helping ensure students’ safety and welfare. The role is part of a team and family-oriented work environment built around relationships with drivers, children, parents, and school districts. The schedule follows the student calendar, with flexibility around nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off. Pay is $108 per day, with opportunities for safety, attendance, and year-end bonuses, as well as additional routes and pay for school activity and trip assignments. The company provides $15,000 in life insurance and an Employee Assistance Plan; dental and vision plans are available voluntarily. Free training to obtain the required commercial driver license endorsements may be provided.

Requirements

• Have a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake Endorsements, or obtain them through training provided at no cost.
• Have a satisfactory driving history, based on a review of state motor vehicle records.
• Pass criminal history and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
• Pass an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical and complete tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and participate in random drug and alcohol testing programs during employment.
