About The Position

Family of Kidz is hiring and has immediate openings for a School-Based RBT Supervisor/BCBA. This role is located in Long Island, NY (school based) and offers flexible hours based on school district needs. The compensation ranges from $75,000-$85,000, determined by service provided, professional experience, and license/certifications. Since 1998, Family of Kidz has focused on helping children with special needs achieve greater independence and an enhanced quality of life.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years working with children with special needs, ages 5 through 21, in a school setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing supervision and feedback to clinicians.
  • Masters Degree in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
  • BCBA required.
  • Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision to school-based Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians (BTs), Teacher Assistants, and classroom support staff in accordance with BACB supervision requirements.
  • Support professional growth of employees in collaboration with Assistant Director (e.g., structured feedback, ongoing training, team building activities, PIP's, disciplinary action).
  • Schedule and conduct in-person supervision visits across assigned school districts. Responsible for reliable transportation.
  • Coach direct support staff through modeling, feedback, and competency-based training.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with school personnel to ensure that students' needs are met.
  • Provide group training or professional developments as needed.
  • Provide BCBA/ LBA Supervision and support group supervision opportunities as needed.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with Assistant Director and fellow supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and supervision records in accordance with BACB and company standards.
  • Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding students and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
