About The Position

Teach fun, creative, age-appropriate dance classes for students ages 5–10 at elementary schools across multiple Bay Area locations. Classes have 5–10 students and use provided lesson plans. The instructor helps create a positive, engaging environment, transports and sets up dance materials, takes attendance, signs students in and out, communicates with parents or staff, and captures session highlights with photos. The role is part-time, with weekday schedules between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM for 2–5 hours per week. Up to two unpaid training or shadowing sessions are required to learn the program structure. Additional sports-class scheduling may be available for instructors interested in extra hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Have reliable transportation in the Bay Area.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with children and be able to manage a classroom professionally.
• Be reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be fully vaccinated and willing to complete a background check.
• Be a local candidate and authorized to work in the United States; visa assistance is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in dance, teaching or performing, is preferred.
• Ability to teach more than one sport, including tennis, basketball, pickleball, volleyball, soccer, yoga, PE/Olympic Hopes, or floor hockey.
