About The Position

Terros Health is seeking a School-based Clinician for its Children's Services department at the 27th Ave location in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time position involves providing outpatient counseling services to children and their families, addressing both mental health and substance use needs. The role requires the clinician to be professional, friendly, a self-starter, organized, and compassionate. Services will be delivered in school-based settings, family homes, and potentially in the office. Requirements

Master's degree in a behavioral health field (MA, MS, MC, MSW).
Arizona license or eligibility for Arizona license.
One year of experience practicing in one of the specified licenses (LAMFT, LAC, LAAC, LMSW, LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LIAC).
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish professional working relationships.
Ability to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
Possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for one within 7 working days of employment.
Possess or obtain a valid Arizona Driver License, be 21 years of age with a minimum of 4 years of driving experience, and meet Terros driving policy requirements.
Pass a typing test with a minimum 25 wpm typing speed.
Pass a TB test.

Nice To Haves

Training in DBT, EMDR, or other Evidence-Based Practices.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient counseling services, including assessments and counseling for children, adolescents, transition-aged youth, families, and groups.
Treat both mental health and substance use needs.
Deliver services in school-based settings, family homes, and potentially in the office.
Develop therapeutic relationships with clients.
Translate knowledge into effective counseling methods.
Determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Seek supervision/consultation as appropriate.
Develop treatment plans with clear, individual, achievable, and measurable objectives.
Involve in CFTs, collaborate with child/family, and contribute to the ISP process.
Maintain client charts in compliance with required standards, ensuring progress notes are completed the same day and reflect evidence-based treatment.
