About The Position

Bridges Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for a School Based Clinician. This position will be located at Jonathan Law High School. The purpose of this role is to provide school-based psychotherapy and case management to children and families experiencing behavioral health issues. Requirements

  • Masters degree in behavioral health field required.
  • Associate license required, Full license preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, with early mornings and some evenings required.
  • Knowledge of child development and psychiatric disorders.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience in counseling/therapeutic methods/practices with children and families.
  • Sensitivity to diverse cultures and language competencies.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize schedules/demands.
  • CBITS training required upon hire.
  • Access to reliable transportation on a consistent basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with evidence based practices (TFCBT, MATCH, ARC, DBT -adolescent) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • CBITS training prior to hire preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and traditional treatment and evidence based treatment to children/adolescents and their families.
  • Provide individual, parenting, family and group modalities of treatment as needed.
  • Provide case management services as needed.
  • Maintain client documentation in electronic health records as required.
  • Facilitate evidence based treatment groups in school setting.
  • Facilitate parent support groups.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with school personnel.
  • Perform any other department or agency-related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor.
