About The Position

Devereux is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their team as a BCBA Consultant for schools in Delaware, specifically in New Castle County. This is a 10-month position with school-based hours, offering the option to work an Extended School Year (ESY) in the summer. The role involves providing behavioral support to students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and training/supporting school staff on behavior strategies. The BCBA will also collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) is a comprehensive initiative comprising five specialized divisions focused on improving academic, behavioral, and emotional outcomes in educational settings.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification (required)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities
