About The Position
The Learning Experience at Lake Houston is seeking an energetic, dependable, and experienced School-Age Teacher/Bus Driver to join their team. This part-time position involves safely transporting children to and from local schools, supervising and engaging school-age children in a fun, safe, and educational environment, and assisting with homework, activities, outdoor play, and classroom management. The goal is to create a positive experience for every child each afternoon. The Learning Experience focuses on making early education joyful, engaging, and fun, with a curriculum centered on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and hands-on learning activities. The franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
Requirements
- Previous childcare experience is required
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Reliable, positive, and passionate about working with children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check
