About The Position

OAG is seeking a Scheduling Systems Analyst to join our Central Scheduling Team (CST). This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex operational problems, working with data and technology, and finding smarter ways to get work done. This role will help OAG modernize, automate, and centralize our clinical scheduling operations. We are looking for someone who is technically savvy, analytical, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from problem identification through implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, data analytics, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management, process improvement, business analysis, healthcare operations, workforce management, or a related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and optimize complex software systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, or automated workflows.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, identify problems, and drive solutions through implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QGenda or similar workforce scheduling software is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, SQL, Power Automate, APIs, or other analytics and automation technologies is also highly desirable.
  • Healthcare workforce, physician scheduling, or clinical operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for QGenda and other scheduling systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual scheduling, reporting, and administrative processes.
  • Help standardize and centralize scheduling workflows across OAG’s hospital and ASC locations.
  • Build reports, dashboards, analytical tools, and automated workflows.
  • Analyze physician and APP staffing supply, demand, utilization, coverage gaps, and workforce capacity.
  • Support workforce forecasting, staffing models, contract reporting, and operational analysis.
  • Lead QGenda enhancements, implementations, configuration changes, and optimization projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between OAG and QGenda and coordinate resolution of system issues.
  • Lead scheduling, technology, and process-improvement projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop standardized processes and documentation that reduce manual work and reliance on individual institutional knowledge.
