About The Position
The Scheduling Specialist coordinates the advanced scheduling of procedures for a designated department at INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians Baptist Cardiovascular Registration in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role schedules and verifies procedure appointments, checks the schedule on an ongoing and daily basis, and coordinates shared equipment availability with other patient-care and service areas.
Requirements
- Good understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
- Ability to use a computer, telephone, copier, calculator, and other usual office equipment.
- At least one year of related scheduling experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities
- Schedules and verifies or confirms procedure scheduling with appropriate personnel, using an updated hospital physician privilege list.
- Verifies the procedure schedule on an ongoing and daily basis.
- Coordinates the availability of shared equipment with other patient-care and service areas during scheduling.
