About The Position

Stone Rehab and Senior Living is hiring a full-time Scheduler to develop and maintain staffing schedules and coordinate coverage across nursing units and shifts. The role works 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and does not require weekends. The position supports efficient daily operations by keeping staffing records current, communicating schedule changes, and monitoring attendance and scheduling compliance. Prior scheduling experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare is preferred, though the employer is willing to train the right person.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the Massachusetts state registry.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Prior Scheduler experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare setting; the employer is willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage across nursing units and shifts.
• Monitor staffing levels, fill open shifts, and coordinate coverage for call-outs, vacations, leaves, and other scheduling needs.
• Communicate schedule changes, shift assignments, and staffing needs to nursing staff, department managers, and nursing leadership.
• Track attendance, overtime, and time-off requests, and help ensure schedules align with facility policies, staffing requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Update scheduling systems, maintain accurate staffing records, and prepare reports to support staffing decisions and daily operations.
