About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Scheduler to join their Contract Solutions team in Southern California. This role involves utilizing project controls experience, specifically in construction project and program-level scheduling, to contribute to various challenging projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven track record in the field.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in project scheduling
• Construction project and program level scheduling
• Proficiency with Primavera P6
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and interest in training and mentoring junior level staff

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience in public buildings, infrastructure, water/wastewater and/or commercial construction projects
• Currently holds or ability to obtain professional certification such as Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management

Responsibilities

• Development of project schedules.
• Development of functional schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.
• Building detailed engineering, construction, and validation logic-driven/resource loaded schedules.
• Analyzing critical path updates.
• Analyzing schedule progress.
• Evaluating schedule options.
• Communicating schedule status to the project manager, client, consultants, and others.
• Maintaining project schedule(s) and alerting the project team to potential problem areas.
• Assisting/Leading schedule and budget review meetings at construction sites or client facilities.
• Collecting and recording real-time schedule and performance data, including installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontracted work.
