About The Position

Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. (MES) serves as the general contracting and prime contractor arm of Michels, delivering complex energy and industrial infrastructure projects across North America. MES provides turnkey project execution, leveraging Michels' self-perform capabilities to manage every phase of construction, from planning and procurement through field execution and project closeout. With deep expertise in pipelines, gas distribution systems, compressor and pump stations, industrial facilities, utility infrastructure, and energy-related construction, MES partners with clients to safely deliver critical projects that power economies and support growing communities. Known for tackling challenging scopes and providing integrated solutions, Michels Energy Solutions combines the resources of a national contractor with the agility, accountability, and hands-on leadership needed to successfully execute large-scale energy and industrial projects. As a Scheduler, your key responsibilities will be to develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules that support the timely completion of construction projects. You’ll collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to optimize timelines, monitor progress, and proactively identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in construction scheduling, project controls, or a related role within the oil & gas industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent relevant experience
• Formal training or certification in project scheduling principles or software
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to forecast impacts and propose solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, management, and external partners
