About The Position

CMTS is seeking a highly motivated Scheduler III (TDIP Project Scheduler) to support the Terminal Development & Improvement Program (TDIP) at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). This role will support large-scale aviation capital improvement projects and be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining detailed project schedules for complex terminal development, asset renewal, and airport improvement projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong Primavera P6 expertise, direct owner-side scheduling experience, and forensic schedule analysis experience supporting claims and delay assessments on large, complex infrastructure programs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of scheduling experience supporting large-scale construction programs
  • 5+ years of reporting and schedule coordination for multiple concurrent construction projects
  • Direct forensic scheduling experience supporting claims analysis on projects valued at $200M+ with durations exceeding 3 years
  • Experience supporting active aviation, transportation, heavy civil, vertical, and horizontal construction programs
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project life cycles, and sequencing strategies
  • Experience reviewing contractor and designer schedule submittits including baseline schedules, recovery schedules, TIA analyses, and as-built schedules
  • Experience supporting Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Design-Build delivery methods
  • Ability to evaluate contractor delay claims and assess potential owner liabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6
  • Experience with Schedule Analyzer, Claims Digger, and Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
  • Ability to develop KPI reporting and executive-level schedule analysis presentations
  • Must be able to work full-time on-site at LAX
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, or extended hours as needed
  • Consultant must provide laptop and cell phone for business use
  • Transportation to and from LAX is the responsibility of the consultant

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze contractor and designer schedule submissions for compliance with contract requirements
  • Perform independent schedule analysis and provide recommendations to owner representatives
  • Review preliminary schedules, baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, recovery schedules, and time impact analyses
  • Analyze project delays and support forensic schedule analysis efforts related to claims and dispute resolution
  • Coordinate interface issues and scheduling impacts across multiple interdependent projects
  • Facilitate schedule coordination between project teams, contractors, construction managers, and stakeholders
  • Assist with change order reviews, claims analysis, and delay mitigation strategies
  • Develop reports and presentations communicating schedule risks, delays, sequencing issues, and project status
  • Support KPI development and reporting initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with LAWA scheduling standards and activity coding structures
  • Participate in project meetings, schedule review meetings, and executive briefings as required
