About The Position

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Scheduler III for their Airports division. This role involves developing and delivering infrastructure projects such as factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related technical field required
• 10 years or more of scheduling experience
• 5 plus years of reporting (milestones, interdependencies, etc.) in direct support of an active construction program covering multiple projects and varying project delivery methods
• Direct forensic scheduling experience to support claims analysis on large-scale, complex heavy civil, vertical and horizontal projects (projects of at least $200M value and 3-years or greater duration) particularly for assessment of delay claims and potential owner’s liabilities
• Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build

Nice To Haves

• Relevant Professional Licensure & Certifications are strongly preferred
• Prior experience in aviation and large transportation projects, is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Review project schedule submittals from Design and Contractor Teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Perform independent schedule analyses for the Owner, including preliminary, baseline, and as-built schedules.
• Evaluate four-week look-ahead schedules and monthly schedule updates for accuracy and completeness.
• Assess recovery schedules, time impact analyses, and time extension requests in accordance with contract terms.
• Facilitate coordination and resolve interface issues across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure all submitted schedules comply with LAWA project coding and activity code structures.
• Identify, interpret, and apply relevant contract provisions to claims and schedule disputes.
• Conduct complex schedule analyses to identify project risks, interdependencies, and claims-related impacts.
• Assist with change orders, delay claims, and dispute resolution efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze contractor delay claims using forensic scheduling practices, including disruption, acceleration, and recovery assessments.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials that clearly communicate complex sequencing and forensic findings.
• Recommend delay mitigation strategies and alternative solutions to address schedule-related challenges.
• Develop KPIs and apply scheduling expertise on large-scale capital projects exceeding $500 million while supporting collaboration among all stakeholders.
