About The Position

Reporting to the Home Support Services Manager or Coordinator, the Scheduler coordinates and schedules Community Health Workers (Home Support Workers) in accordance with established policies and procedures, client care plans and applicable collective agreements. Performs outside of work on-call duties.

Requirements

• Grade 12 with course work in health care, computer training and scheduling experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Proven proficient computer skills
• Physical and mental ability to carry on the duties of the position
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with others
• Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
