About The Position

The Scan Coordinator maintains overall price integrity in the store. The role involves completing price changes and verifying promotional pricing and signage across departments, while ensuring compliance with company and governmental regulations. The coordinator must work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment and support positive customer shopping experiences.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Have strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze scanning programs and maintain reports and schedules.
Understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
Possess excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
Be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Be able to read price tags, create and post signs and price tags, staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
Have good vision to read and set signs.
Be able to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds from 1 to 34 inches, over a distance of up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
Be able to walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour period.
Be able to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain overall price integrity in the store.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including changing shelf signs, tags, and promotional signs.
Verify weekly advertising price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
Ensure compliance with company and governmental compliance regulations.
Work quickly and accurately to support pricing integrity in the store.
