About The Position

The Scan Coordinator II handles day-to-day pricing operations throughout the store and implements pricing updates across all store areas. The role is expected to model company values and drive results. Responsibilities include training other scan coordinators and ensuring that merchandise pricing and labels are accurate and current. The position operates in an office and retail-store environment with noise ranging from quiet to loud, and may require travel to company locations. Work schedules vary according to pricing-change needs and may begin at midnight.

Responsibilities

Train other scan coordinators.
Ensure price tags are accurate.
Take inventory or scan merchandise to identify prices that need updating.
Change prices on shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables as needed.
Receive, open, and unpack price tickets; issue tickets and create labels for new shelf products.
Identify mislabeled, misallocated, and incorrectly priced products.
Compare merchandise prices, dates, and UPC codes for accuracy.
Order additional price tags and signage based on merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.
Perform daily audits and generate reports to ensure merchandise prices are updated.
Operate registers, scales, computers, printers, and handheld devices.
Place signs for one-day specials.
Remove expired price tags and replace them with new tags.
Monitor information sent by the support center Data Integrity department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
