About The Position

GreenWaste is seeking to fill the position of a highly motivated, professional, self-directed, and enthusiastic candidate Scale House Attendant role. This position calls for a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a team of individuals who work well together. The position comes with a high learning curve and the key functions, skills and qualifications are imperative to the success of the role. This position is expected to work out of our office at 675 Los Esteros Rd, San Jose, CA and some job-related travel may be required.

Requirements

• Customer service skills
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills, printing, and data entry
• Ability to follow instructions and not taking
• Reliable and great attendance
• Punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to climb up and down a staircase to review loads, reach above shoulders, prolonged sitting or standing.
• Read and Write in English
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with service information, provide accurate costs and accept payment for inbound and outbound transactions.
• Ability to learn material classification and review loads.
• Work well in a team setting and work well with others including team members, supervisors, managers, and customers.
• Attention to detail is critical for data entry.
• Manage traffic control and provide site direction to offload the material.
• Punctuality and attendance is key.
• Potential for cross training at other nearby sites.
