About The Position

Handle truck scale procedures for all inbound/outbound loads. The candidate will be responsible for serving as the first line of communication in respect to daily customer shipments and scrap receipts, ensuring proper operation of truck scales, and acting as a liaison between trucks and the SDI LaFarga Copperworks plant.

Requirements

Must possess a well-defined sense of hazard awareness and recognition.
High attention to detail.
Capability to learn new computer software.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision.
Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
Ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Must have good math skills.
Must have good oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle truck scale procedures for all inbound/outbound loads.
Serve as the first line of communication in respect to daily customer shipments and scrap receipts.
Ensure proper operation of truck scales.
Act as a liaison between trucks and the SDI LaFarga Copperworks plant.
Scale in and out trucks.
Process paperwork.
Data entry.
Check visitors in and out then direct them to the proper contact.
Monitor cameras.
Demonstrate the highest standard of core safety values and beliefs.
Other duties as assigned.
