Lakeside Industries is seeking a Scale House Attendant to support daily operations by accurately weighing incoming and outgoing commercial vehicles and maintaining essential documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient site operations, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively operate computerized systems and basic office equipment (printers, scanners)
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in related industry preferred
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and process inbound and outbound trucks using computerized scale systems
• Perform detailed data entry and maintain accurate transaction records
• Communicate clearly with drivers to provide directions and ensure compliance with site procedures
• Monitor and direct traffic flow to maintain safe and efficient operations
• Prepare daily operational and load reports
• Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide professional, courteous service to drivers, vendors, and visitors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
