About The Position

Industrial Scaffold Builders assist with the construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds and auxiliary structures related to scaffolding. The role also involves miscellaneous construction projects, including building decks, steps, bulletin boards, and other wooden structures.

Requirements

• Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
• Be willing to assist other crafts when not actively working on scaffolding.
• Be able to meet all physical requirements.
• Be able and willing to follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Have all required tools.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be a current Zachry or Zachry ROF’d employee.
• Have former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
• NCCER certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter.
• Formal or technical education.
• Experience working with scaffolding, insulation, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
• Measure, mark, and cut wooden or metallic materials to required specifications.
• Assist with the construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed scaffolds.
• Assist with building and constructing wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
• Work on miscellaneous construction projects, including building decks, steps, bulletin boards, and other wooden structures.
• Clean up work areas.
