About The Position

This U.S. based position is for a highly motivated SCADA Software Specialist with a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex industrial problems. The role focuses on EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with customers to help them create solutions using the Geo SCADA software package and other Schneider solutions. This involves collaborating closely with other TSCs, internal and external sales staff, offer management, and R&D to develop, build, troubleshoot, and enhance solutions for customers. The primary markets will be the upstream and midstream energy sectors, as well as water and wastewater, among others. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time is essential, frequently across the United States and Canada to meet with customers and provide technical knowledge, expertise, and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technologist Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a similar discipline.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms.
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructures and data management in IIoT, automation systems such as SCADA, RTUs, and PLCs.
  • Experience with automation protocols such as MQTT, Sparkplug B, OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3, and EthernetIP.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and/or OT Security, including Active Directory and Azure AD.

Nice To Haves

  • Geo SCADA experience is preferred but not mandatory.
