About The Position

FICO is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to join their world-class team. The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant will be a key technical resource for the sales team, ensuring FICO proposes the optimal solution to meet customer needs. Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a pre-sales (or post-sales with a strong sales aptitude) consulting role with a track record of crafting solutions that genuinely move the needle for clients.
  • The ability to command a room when presenting to technical stakeholders or C-suite executives.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • A problem-solver's mindset.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally as part of a collaborative solution team.
  • Flexibility to travel 10–25% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain knowledge in Originations (credit application processing, decisioning workflows, or onboarding).
  • Domain knowledge in Customer Management (portfolio management, credit line strategies, or lifecycle decisioning).
  • Domain knowledge in Fraud (detection, prevention, case management, or authentication).
  • Experience working inside a bank, lender, or fintech in the mentioned domains.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions to uncover clients' pain points, strategic priorities, and growth ambitions.
  • Design the right FICO solution to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Build and deliver customized, high-impact product demonstrations that connect FICO's technology to client needs.
  • Collaborate with FICO's product teams to architect innovative solutions, from proof of concepts to full proposals.
  • Own RFI/RFP responses, pricing scenarios, ROI analyses, and competition-differentiating sales strategies.
  • Represent FICO at client workshops and industry conferences.
  • Provide ongoing product education to the sales team.
