About The Position

The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is seeking an enthusiastic 2026-2027 SAS Site Director, Sumner County School to lead their School Age Program. This is a full-time, ongoing employment position for the 2026-2027 school year, not suitable for individuals seeking summer-only employment. The role involves supervising staff, implementing lesson plans, engaging children aged 5-12 in fun activities, and building community by connecting with parents, school staff, and YMCA teams. The YMCA provides training, ongoing professional development, and team support.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 21
• High school diploma + 4 years of experience working with kids in a group setting OR Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of group experience OR 36 credit hours in child development or related fields + 2 years of experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days)
