About The Position
The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is hiring a 2026-2027 SAS Site Director for their School Age Program at South Davidson County School. This full-time position is for individuals who love leading teams, working with kids, and making a difference every day. The role involves running the Before and After School program, engaging kids (ages 5–12) in fun activities that support their growth—socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually. The YMCA provides the necessary tools and support, including training, ongoing professional development, and a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 21
- High school diploma + 4 years of experience working with kids in a group setting
- Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of group experience
- 36 credit hours in child development or related fields + 2 years of experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days)
Responsibilities
- Lead the charge by supervising staff, implementing lesson plans, and making sure our program runs smoothly.
- Create magic by engaging kids (ages 5–12) in fun activities that support their growth—socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
- Build community by connecting with parents, school staff, and YMCA teams to keep everyone on the same page.
