About The Position
The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is seeking an enthusiastic 2026-2027 SAS Site Director, Antioch Area School to lead their Before and After School program. This role involves supervising staff, implementing lesson plans, engaging children aged 5-12 in growth-supporting activities, and fostering community connections with parents, school staff, and YMCA teams. The YMCA provides training, ongoing professional development, and a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 21
- High school diploma + 4 years of experience working with kids in a group setting OR Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of group experience OR 36 credit hours in child development or related fields + 2 years of experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days)
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff
- Implement lesson plans
- Ensure smooth program operation
- Engage children (ages 5-12) in fun activities that support their growth—socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually
- Connect with parents, school staff, and YMCA teams
