About The Position

The SAP Training Lead is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for SAP end-users across AMETEK. The role leads the design and execution of training strategies to equip stakeholders to follow global business processes and use SAP S/4HANA efficiently and accurately. The position reports to the SAP Program Director. The role partners with SAP Functional Leads and Business Process Leads to develop accurate, relevant training content and provide organizational change management guidance and communications. It oversees training resources, schedules and coordinates training, develops evaluation measures, and prepares super users to deliver end-user training through a Train the Trainer program. The position also advises leadership on Digital Adoption Platforms and other training tools. The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the United States full-time without current or future employer sponsorship. Travel may be required on a project basis.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience with end-to-end SAP ERP implementation projects.
Experience with e-learning development tools.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work with a remote team in a global environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete work in a timely manner.
Willingness to travel on a project basis.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and work quality, and to reduce costs; ability to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
Legal right to work in the United States full-time without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

At least 10 years of SAP ERP training experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement a comprehensive SAP training strategy aligned with project goals and organizational objectives.
Create, update, and maintain SAP training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, job aids, and quick reference guides.
Work with SAP Functional Leads and Business Process Leads to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
Facilitate SAP Lunch-n-Learn sessions for global employees.
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of training sessions to maximize participation and engagement.
Develop evaluation measures, including knowledge checks, course evaluations, and tests.
Manage internal and external training resources, including offshore resources.
Guide the team administrator on tools, processes, and deliverables.
Provide organizational change management guidance and communication in collaboration with SAP Functional Leads and Business Process Leads.
Participate in creating and quality-checking training materials as needed to support the team.
Plan and facilitate a Train the Trainer program to prepare super users to deliver end-user training.
Advise leadership on Digital Adoption Platforms and other training tools as needed.
