SAP SD Senior Consultant
About The Position
Clarkston Consulting is seeking a motivated, self-driven SAP SD Senior Consultant to deliver business solutions to clients in the life sciences, consumer products, and retail industries. The role combines industry expertise, business process knowledge, and consulting skills to address client business challenges. The consultant will lead SAP SD implementation work and guide consultants and client personnel. Responsibilities span requirements analysis and solution design, SAP SD configuration and development, customized reporting, client support and training, and supporting prospective engagement scoping and proposals. The position involves an estimated 30–50% travel, which may vary with client and project needs. When not at a client site or traveling, consultants work from a home office; relocation is not required. Requirements
- Expertise in SAP SD with at least three full-life-cycle implementation projects.
- Team lead experience.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across design, hands-on configuration, and new roles as needed.
- Thorough client-services orientation and experience taking an active role in executing engagements and project plans or tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present and write at a publication-quality level to communicate findings and recommendations.
- A four-year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide consultants and client personnel implementing SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
- Lead analysis and design sessions to develop requirements and client solutions.
- Design, develop, and configure SAP SD functions to meet business requirements, including integration points with other modules.
- Manage and oversee the design and development of customized reports.
- Provide general technical support to clients and conduct training as required.
- Assist with scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.
