About The Position

NTT DATA is hiring an SAP SD/OTC Lead to join its team in Plano, Texas. The role requires extensive hands-on SAP Sales and Distribution experience and leadership capability, including leading cross-functional and multi-location teams, mentoring junior consultants, and effectively managing stakeholders. The lead is responsible and accountable for project deliverables.

The position focuses on SAP SD and Order-to-Cash work, including S/4HANA implementations, configuration of core SD processes, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems. Candidates should bring at least 15 years of SAP SD/OTC experience and at least five years of S/4HANA experience. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of SAP SD experience; the minimum qualification specifies 15+ years of SAP SD/OTC experience.
• At least five years of S/4HANA experience.
• At least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementations; the basic qualifications specify at least 2–3 full-cycle implementations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and multi-location teams, mentor junior consultants, and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in SAP SD configuration and customization.
• Strong understanding of integration with FI-AR, MM, PP, LE, and TM, and external systems using EDI/IDoc and APIs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage client expectations effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• SAP certification.
• Experience in global rollouts and multi-country implementations.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
• Familiarity and experience with SAP Activate and agile delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional and multi-location teams.
• Mentor junior consultants.
• Manage stakeholders and client expectations effectively.
• Be responsible and accountable for project deliverables.
• Configure SAP SD processes, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, credit management (FSCM), output management, returns, intercompany sales, and third-party order processing.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementations and apply knowledge of S/4HANA architecture, SD simplifications, SAP Fiori, Advanced ATP, Business Partner, and Revenue Accounting (RAR).
• Work with integration touchpoints across FI-AR, MM, PP, LE, and TM, and external systems using EDI/IDoc and APIs.
