About The Position

Join CACI's team supporting USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), a mission-critical enterprise platform that modernizes transportation, logistics, and financial operations through SAP S/4HANA ERP integration. The Software Test Engineer performs hands-on manual testing for a large-scale SAP implementation and helps ensure system reliability and performance. The role partners with developers, business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable SAP solutions. It is a regular, full-time position requiring an active Secret clearance, with no travel required. The position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately; applicants may also be considered for other consistently available positions at CACI.

Requirements

Active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 5 years of manual software testing experience with large-scale ERP systems.
Hands-on testing experience with SAP S/4HANA applications, including workflows and integrations, in at least one of the following modules: TM, SD, MM, YL, GTT, or EWM.
Strong working knowledge of the SAFe Framework, SDLC, and Agile development practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ServiceNow CWM (Collaborative Work Management) for Agile test management and defect tracking.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and DevSecOps best practices.
Previous experience supporting federal agencies or Department of Defense clients.

Responsibilities

Review user stories and functional requirements to identify test scenarios, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and other testing requirements.
Design, build, and maintain test scripts for SAP TM, SD, MM, YL, EGTM, GTT, and EWM modules, workflows, and integrations.
Execute functional testing across JTMS modules and customizations at the Agile team level within a SAFe Agile framework.
Document defects with detailed reproduction steps, track issues through resolution, and communicate findings to development teams.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and maximize test coverage.
Create and maintain test cases, test data sets, and traceability matrices aligned with SAFe Agile practices.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and quality assurance practices.
