About The Position

The SAP SAC Planning Lead Consultant will lead financial planning work using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and related planning tools. The role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and experience serving as a Solution Architect. Candidates should have completed at least 3–4 financial planning projects using tools such as SAC Planning and have hands-on knowledge of SAC Planning data modeling, preparing and transforming datasets, and core planning features. The position is based in Richardson, Texas, with a hybrid work arrangement, and has a contract duration of nine months.

Requirements

• 12 years of total experience.
• 6–7 years of experience in financial planning.
• Experience with SAC Planning and BPC Planning.
• Experience serving as a Solution Architect.
• Completed at least 3–4 financial planning projects using a planning tool such as SAC Planning.
• Good understanding of financial concepts.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAC Planning data modeling, preparing datasets, merging, appending, custom hierarchies, custom calculations, grouping, formatting values, and data wrangling.
• Knowledge of SAC Planning dimensions; New Model and Classic account model; formulas and calculations; input layouts; stories; Analytics Designer; copy and cross-model copy data actions; advanced formulas; multi actions; allocations and distribution; predictive planning; value driver trees; currency translation; validation rules; calendar workflow organization; and security concepts including MDP and DACe.
• Good communication and business interaction skills, and the ability to take ownership.
