About The Position

The SAP Planning Manager is the business owner of inventory positioning across CRL’s distribution branch network. The role shapes SAP planning strategy to keep branches stocked, serve customers, and manage inventory investment efficiently. It has influence and visibility across the network and works closely with Branch Operations, Procurement, and Logistics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in inventory planning, replenishment, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP MM, MRP, and STO processes.
• Experience managing inventory across a multi-site distribution network.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or at least 5 years of procurement leadership experience in place of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Planning certification such as CPIM or CSCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory planning and replenishment across all CRL distribution branches.
• Own SAP planning parameters, including MRP settings, safety stock levels, reorder points, and replenishment rules.
• Design and execute branch-to-branch and warehouse-to-branch Stock Transfer Order (STO) strategies.
• Identify inventory imbalances early and move stock to meet demand.
• Partner with Branch Operations, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve shortages and improve deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of planning processes within SAP.
• Contribute to SAP enhancements, system upgrades, and planning projects.
