SAP NS2 Federal Public Sector BTP Architect
About The Position
SAP NS2 is seeking a Federal Public Sector BTP Architect to lead technology initiatives for SAP Public Sector and NS2 customers from concept through delivery. The role translates customer business objectives into scalable, resilient, and secure SAP landscapes aligned with SAP best practices, operational excellence, and federal security, privacy, compliance, and data-governance requirements. The architect designs end-to-end solutions across SAP cloud applications, SAP BTP Integration Suite, data and analytics, AI Core, SAP Business AI, and third-party platforms. The role defines integration and Clean Core strategies and produces reference architectures, design standards, roadmaps, and reusable components. It also leads assessments and planning for migrations from SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO) to SAP BTP Integration Suite, including cutover and sunset planning. As a trusted advisor, the architect guides complex U.S. Federal Government and Department of Defense programs, influences architectural decisions across stakeholder groups, supports customer engagements through technical advisory, pre-sales, and sales activities, communicates technical decisions as business value for executives, evaluates emerging technologies, and mentors internal team members. Must be a U.S. citizen because the position requires access to customer data. Travel is up to 50%; location preference is the East or Central U.S. time zone.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen; the position requires access to customer data.
- At least 10 years of SAP architecture experience.
- At least three years implementing SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP solutions.
- Deep expertise in SAP BTP and enterprise integration technologies, including high-volume integration environments.
- Expertise assessing and leading SAP PI/PO and interface migrations to SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, SAP AI Core, advanced analytics, and hybrid, private, or public cloud adoption.
- Experience applying context engineering and AI output quality assurance practices to enterprise AI solutions.
- Proven experience defining technical roadmaps and applying SAP Clean Core governance standards.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government, Department of Defense, or Federal Civilian customers.
