About The Position

This role involves providing production support for SAP MDG, with a primary focus on Material Master and Business Partner Master Data. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to MDG workflows, validations, BRF+, Change Requests, and data. This includes performing root-cause analysis, supporting and enhancing custom MDG developments (ABAP programs, workflows, data models, enhancements, BADIs, interfaces), and supporting SAP Fiori applications related to MDG. The position also requires performing various types of testing, supporting UAT and production deployments, and collaborating with business users and cross-functional teams to maintain master data quality and governance. Additionally, the role involves supporting process improvements, user training, and documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Strong ABAP knowledge
• Experience with MDG Production Support
• Experience with Material Master & Business Partner
• Knowledge of BRF+, Workflows, BADIs, DRF and Fiori
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for SAP MDG, primarily covering Material Master and Business Partner Master Data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MDG workflows, validations, BRF+, Change Requests, and data-related issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend permanent/sustainable solutions.
• Support and enhance custom SAP MDG developments, including ABAP programs, workflows, data models, enhancements, BADIs, and interfaces.
• Support SAP Fiori applications related to MDG, including issue resolution, catalogs/roles, user access, and usability improvements.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for MDG enhancements and DRF/data replication processes.
• Support UAT and production deployments.
• Work closely with business users, data stewards, and cross-functional SAP teams to maintain master-data quality and governance.
• Support process improvements, user training, and technical/functional documentation.
