About The Position

As a SAP MDG Manager / General SAP Data Governance, you will lead client work focused on SAP master data governance, data quality, and process alignment within PwC’s Advisory practice. At the Senior Manager level, you will use your skills, judgment, and network to guide complex work, coach teams through ambiguity, and communicate recommendations that support client goals. You will help shape SAP data governance approaches, support solution design and implementation, and bring functional, technical, and business perspectives together to address business application needs.

Requirements

At least a Bachelor's degree.
At least 7 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

A Master's or Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, or Engineering.
Demonstrated SAP MDG delivery across finance and supply chain domains.
Experience leading client-facing data governance strategy for enterprise SAP environments.
Ability to apply systems thinking to resolve master data issues and dependencies.
Ability to translate business needs into SAP governance process improvements.
Experience coaching teams through complex, ambiguous transformation programs.
Ability to communicate clear recommendations to senior stakeholders and decision makers.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on SAP MDG and general SAP data governance strategies to improve master data quality and control.
Lead SAP data governance workstreams across finance, customer, and supply chain processes within complex transformation programs.
Direct configuration and administration activities for SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP Fiori solutions.
Design data governance operating models, data ownership structures, and control frameworks for enterprise SAP footprints.
Coordinate master data migration, validation, and issue resolution across source and target systems during implementations.
Apply process improvement methods to streamline data maintenance, workflow automation, and governance procedures.
Translate client requirements into technical and functional SAP solution designs aligned with finance technology objectives.
Guide teams through complex delivery challenges while balancing project priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Support analysis of data quality, reporting needs, and governance risks using SAP Analytics Cloud and other digital tooling.
Coach team members and shape deliverables that clearly communicate findings, options, and implementation steps.
