SAP iXp Intern - Agile Test Developer [Vancouver]
About The Position
The SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp) is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact. This role will involve developing new frameworks and tools related to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and end-to-end test automation. The intern will also assess new technology projects and tools, or migrate environments to new versions to keep up with the rapid pace of change. Additionally, the intern will gain experience in communication and technical skills working with Product Experts and other Agile Developers, develop superior skills in software design, testing and analyzing code, and first-to-market strategy, design and execute test scenarios to fully exercise user stories, employ continuous integration, test driven-development, unit tests, end-to-end automation, risk-analysis, and testing best practices, and participate in Sprint planning meetings, effectively estimate user stories, commit and execute on team tasks.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently and have a positive self-motivated can-do attitude
- Solid programming skills in JavaScript and Java (or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and at least one leading JavaScript framework (e.g. jQuery)
- Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms and principles of OO design
- Understanding of databases and web application servers
- Seeking students who can commit to for an 8-month full time internship starting September 2026
- Functional proficiency in English is required
